Happy Thanksgiving Tbt

Locations: Ko Olina, Hanauma Bay, Koko Head Crater Trail, Lanikai Beach

Happy Thanksgiving lovelies!! This is one of the days a year I look forward to the most...and yes even over Christmas! It is the one time a year I get to see all of my family. Although my immediate family is small, we are extremely close knit and grew up together like peas in a pod. What makes it even better, between my sister and all of my cousins (6) we are all one year apart from each other! Our childhood and most adulthood tradition started at my grandmother and granddad's home. My uncle and cousins would drive up from SoCal and my sister and local cousin would anxiously await their arrival. This is the time when the liveliest and death defying hide and seek, tag, UNO games and races up the steep San Franciscian hills begin! Now that we are all adults and my grandparents no longer here, we have continued the tradition and I'm thankful that the love between my family hasn't deterred this yearly reunion!

With life, people move on to bigger and better opportunities. One of my cousins found himself in Hawaii for work and because he couldn't make thanksgiving in California we brought Thanksgiving to him! It was probably one of my most memorable vacation and Thanksgiving to date! Who wouldn't want to ditch the cold for paradise on Earth! A few pics above capture some of the eventful moments.

As I type, I've got my eye on the time. My family from SoCal should be pretty close and arriving any minute! I can't wait to sit and catch up, listen to all the boys argue about who's the most talented football or bbal player, scarf down the most delicious and fulfilling comfort food and join hands and share what we're most thankful for. I am thankful for the element of love and the amount of it our family shares. What are you Thankful for??

Happy Holidays!
xoxo

Happy Friday!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Why does time seem to pass so slowly immediately before a holiday break...then goes by so fast one it arrives?? I've been counting down to Thanksgiving for about a week and a half and it feels like a month has passed! Maybe the best thing for me to do is put away ALL my calendars ;-)

No matter what the weather is, warm/cold, in SF first rule of thumb, layer up! All I needed was light sweater today but it's super easy to go from relaxed to dressed up for the evening with a distressed jean and ankle strap heel. Stay tuned tomorrow and I'll share outfit once I shed the sweater :-) If you ask anyone I am such a busy body! I don't know what it is but I cannot sit still too long without going crazy! So having a good and easy day to evening outfit is a must! Normally my day to evening consists of a dress with flats to heels but since it's Friday I thought I'd get into the Casual Friday spirit.

Thanks for stopping by lovelies!

Happy Tuesday!! Hope everyone had a great start to the week! I am literally counting down the coming weeks, I can't believe the holidays are almost here!

With the cooling weather in SF comes chunky sweaters and hot chocolate :-) My staple workwear item is a black trouser...it's super easy to match, comfy and one of the best professional closet essentials a girl can have! I'm wearing a super chunky Free People sweater today, one of which I normally wear with denim or layered over a tee. Because it's a slightly cropped sweater, wearing a high-waist pant is a must! How do you wear your favorite chunky sweater??

Thanks for stopping by loves!

How was everyone's weekend?! Once again it was a lovely one in Wine Country. I hate to admit, there's something about being in the middle of myriads and myriads of vineyards that just makes me so happy! Maybe it's the always pleasant weather, the beauty of the never-ending hills or the company you keep while spending time in Napa. It's a combination of them ALL!

The first stop today was Del Dotto, it was my first and boy was I pleased! Not only with the stunning location but also the lovely wines. I must admit, it is now on my top 3 list of wines and locations to visit in Napa. I love the second you enter the steel indoor gates, you get swallowed into the wine caves. You have the option of having a special wine tasting/tour experience...if you have 1.5 hours to spare. The second stop, William Hill Estate Winery. The best feature for me was the huge outdoor seating and picnic area overlooking the 140+ acres of vines. Once you find a cozy spot to park yourselves, you're served your wine tastings. The perfect location if you're looking to take in the serene scene while sipping and nibbling on your pre-packed picnic. I highly recommend both!

I picked up this floral beaut from Anthropologie, who says it's too late in the season to rock a maxi?! And especially from Anthro because right now, all dresses and jewelry is 25% off! That includes sale items too. I'm surprised I had so much self control when purchasing this past week...here are a few, well a BUNCH that I'm swooning over...

Till next time!
